Gwyneth Paltrow – up to "2014" Lifestyle Updates.
Gwyneth Paltrow (120 pounds, 5 feet 9 inches).

The 41 year old actress and mother of two, is known for her very intense views on healthy living and has put them down in her new cookbook It’s All Good. The super healthy recipes are free of eggs, dairy, sugar, soy, meat, most seafood, processed food, and alcohol. The Country Strong actress recently told the UK Guardian that it was Leonardo Dicaprio who planted the seed on no meat for her when she first moved to New York:

“He was a vegetarian and he’d talk about how dirty meat is and how bad factory farming is.” The actress turned life-style guru has even been linked to the baby food diet- just baby food all day and then dinner is believed by some to help cleanse your body while still providing all essential nutrients and managing your weight.

Background:

Paltrow was born on September 27, 1972 in Los Angeles, California into the industry. Her mother was actress Blythe Danner and her father was the late film producer/director Bruce Paltrow. Their marriage was a mix of Christian and Jewish identity so Paltrow got to celebrate both heritages. Paltrow comes from a successful background with her half-cousin actress Katherine Moennig, cousin former U.S. Congresswoman Gabrielle Giffords, opera singer and actor uncle Harry Danner and younger brother Jake Paltrow. This allowed Paltrow to see clearly her path in life, leading her to drop out of her anthropology program at the University of California to commit to acting.

Career:

Do not let the fine aristocratic beauty of Gwyneth Paltrow fool you – she is a maverick entrepreneur. She has a lot of weight in the industry as someone who can influence pop culture internationally. Her recent March 2014 announcement of separation between her husband, Chris Martin from band Coldplay on her lifestyle website GOOP.com made waves across the industry. In moments the website crashed from traffic and the word’s “conscious uncoupling” entered the world’s dictionary. Paltrow established herself as a serious actress when her performance in Shakespeare in Love (1998) garnered Academy Award for Best Actress. Her recent credits include her role as Pepper Potts in Marvel’s Universe as Iron Man’s love interest. She has two children, Apple and Moses and is an ambassador for an Estée Lauder perfume line.

Health and Wellness:

In April 2013, she was named "Most Beautiful Woman" by People Magazine and one look at her Iron Man 3 sheer side paneled dress is evidence enough. As a 40 something woman, Paltrow seems to have sacrificed something to the gods of beauty to be able to continue looking as she does. Her skin glows and her body seems to retain its youthful suppleness. The good news is that Paltrow is not one of those celebrities that like to shroud her in mystery or even worse, deny the hard work behind the body. No, Paltrow is accessible and you can follow her routine through her lifestyle website GOOP.com that helpfully shares food, exercise, and clothing insights into her life.

Paltrow is a member of the fitness prescription of Tracy Anderson, the fitness guru to A-list celebrities. Anderson is not wishy-washy but demands dedication. She likens exercise to brushing your teeth – you would not do it only three times a week. Exercise once a day for an hour to maintain health is required. The body needs to be taken care of. Normally a subscription to her gym costs upwards of $900 per month. Thankfully Anderson has made her regime public through her Metamorphosis DVD Program.

Paltrow’s diet is determined by her food allergies. She went to the doctor and realized she was sensitive to dairy, gluten, and chicken's eggs. She has written the cookbook, It’s All Good packed with recipes that promise a toned body, clear skin and clear eyes.
