This American actress and former model has slowly gained recognition in the film industry. One of her first primary roles came from the film Bring it On (2000) starring opposite of Kirsten Dunst as one side of a rivalry cheer-leading competition. She then she has gone onto television with her work on CBC in the series City of Angels and then returned to film in the hit Bad Boys sequel with Will Smith and Martin Lawrence. More recently, Union was a part of an ensemble cast film in the 2012 film Think Like a Man.

Union has persevered through immense personal tragedy, when the actress at the young age of 19 was attacked and raped at her part-time job working at a shoe store. The culprit ended up turning himself in and currently is serving a 33-year sentence in prison. This horrible personal experience has made Union stronger and a commendable advocate for survivors who have faced assault. The actress is heavily involved in charity working with various organizations such as Susan G. Komen for the Cure's Circle of Promise. Union is divorced from NFL player Chris Howard, but recently engaged in 2013 to NBA player Dwyane Wade.
